welcome back. i'd say the most efficient gold per time spent is getting gems on the black lion tp, and trading them over to gold. failing that, grinding fractals has never let me down goldwise, and it doesn't require you to go all over hell's half acre to find stuff. however, running all over hell's half acre looting daily stuff, etc, is probably around 8090 gph depending on your activity.

Another way that is only happening right now is farming the Halloween labrynth, use the lfg tool to find people doing it.
